September 21, 1991 - 23 Years Ago Today: Roberta Flack & Maxi Priest debuted at No. 73 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with their single, Set The Night To Music. This was Flacks 18th and final chart entry on the Hot 100 and it became her 11th Top 40 and 6th Top Ten when it peaked at No. 6 on November 16, 1991. Priest was a Reggae singer out of London and this was his 3rd of 5 Top 40s and 2nd Top Ten on the Hot 100. He had scored the No. 1 hit, Close To You, one year prior.
