A sci-fi themed special edition of Juice News sees futurist Ray Kurzweil square off against talk show host Alex Jones as they debate whether the blistering pace of technological progress is benign or dangerous. But of course no broadcast of the boldest satirical rap news show on the entire Internet could be complete without the Pentagon’s own General Baxter, for whom new technology means only one thing. Today we travel into the pure world of sci-fi to investigate the much vaunted, mysterious potential future event known as The Singularity. What will a machine consciousness mean for humanity? What are the ethical, political, military and philosophical implications of strong A.I.? And what would an AI sound like when spitting rhymes over a dope beat?
