September is hunger awareness month –Did you know that 48.8 million Americans—including 16.2 million children— live in households that lack the means to get enough nutritious food on a regular basis. As a result, they struggle with hunger at some time during the year. I was looking at the nokidhungry website, and the statistics are overwhelming and sad. We try to do our part as a family and donate food to our community food bank and through our schools, but I’m sure there is much more we can be doing! What can you do to help?
