September is thyroid cancer awareness month! I am so thankful to be on the good side of this long terrible journey, however I will never forget where I have been and what I have gone through. Sometimes when I think about how awful my neck looks I try and remember they arent scars they are battle wounds from a war that I won! When I think back of some of the scary tests, awful procedures, and treatments Ive had I cant believe I DID it!!! But I did not do it alone!!! I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity to meet some amazing and caring doctors, and to experience true kindness, caring and love from my family and friends! I am truly blessed! Please pray for all those struggling with thyroid cancer!!
