Serena did amazing at her pageant! She smiled, waved, kissed & posed. She had a great attitude and made friends. She lost. I am okay with losing. What I am not okay with is that the winners were predetermined and they didnt even bother to keep quiet about it. Apparently the Dream Girls USA pageant has a Dream Team & you pay to be on this team. The girls were discussing the winners and whose turn it was to win before they were even done with Round 3 of the pageant. Conveniently enough the girls that won, their moms were ALL wearing Dream Girls USA Dream Team jackets. Go Figure! The girl that beat Rena had the wrong attire that was not pretty and her momma didnt even brush her hair, but she had paid to be on the Dream Team so she won. I WILL NOT buy my daughter a crown. She has won numerous titles all on her own. She is smart, beautiful and was very well behaved. I will not teach her that she can buy her way through life. We competed, she acted wonderfully & we walked away knowing that she did awesome!!!! Miss my LA Pageant family! We will be retiring and hanging up our tiaras!! On to Ballet and Gymnastics!!
