Serenity has had a rough admission, she was admitted 12 days ago for her normal CF exacerbation and was tested for flu, taking extra precations. Test was NEGATIVE.. within 24hrs, Serenity was running high fever and coughing non stop. On Christmas eve, she was in respiratory distress, needing a lot of oxygen and hooked up to heart monitors and pulse ox. They retested her for the flu, not knowing why she was getting worse after 5 days of IV antbiotics.. Test was then POSITIVE. She has been on Tama flu for 5days now and is feeling much better! Her appetite is coming back! THANK YOU ALL for your prayers! Thinking we might make it home in a few days ☺
