Sergey Mayboga Photography 2014 My new Art Photo Project is coming soon!!!!! My great-grandfather was the military pilot ( Soviet Air Force) Lieutenant Colonel and a squad leader of the 1st Stalingrad Fighting Squad. All their fightings became legendary accomplishment and once they were united with the Female Pilots of the 46th female fighting squad. These fearless females were called swallows by the Soviets and French Normand-Neman soldiers while Germans called them Night Witches. All these girls were former university and high school students, they became legends for the Soviet soldiers as well as for the Germans. Even though being young and fragile, they followed their hearts to join the army and to fight for their Motherland, Soviet Union. I read my great grandfathers memoirs and to celebrate the victory of the WWII on May 9th, I plan to photograph a session dedicated to these fearless ladies.
