Serious question: How many of you idolized the Bad Boys? ESPN released the 30 for 30 on them, and most of us could watch that documentary on repeat! Bill Laimbeer, Rick Mahorn, James Edwards, Isaiah Thomas, Dennis Rodman...that team was NASTY! They were out for blood an everybody knew it! But DAMN, we loved every second of it! We bought Bad Boys t-shirts, bumper stickers, you name it! So now to the actual question: Why in FOOTBALL, with guys like Suh and Raiola, are guys looked at differently for playing dirty? They take cheap shots here and there, to gain an edge, and in some cases maybe to injure. Did the Bad Boys not do that? Did we not glorify those guys for doing it?! So why are we so quick to chastise these guys? Because of the Suh free agency debacle? Because Raiola sucks? Because this team had sucked for so long? I call bullshit. Give me my Football Lions with a little Bad Boys in em. Stomp on all the ankles you can find. Intentional or unintentional.
