Seriously Ron - I appreciate that you have become sympathetic to the Palestinian people and I can understand and share in that sympathy - but HAMAS and prior leadership of the Palestinians has led them over the cliff like lemmings. 45 mins · Like Dave,that was the original intent of the tunnels,to by pass the Israeli Boycott and blockaide of Gaza.Obviously, the tunnels into Israel,which is considered the Zionist occupied Palestinian Homeland from which they were displaced and ethnically cleansed, were meant for military purposes. Dave,my postings are not meant to give sympathy to Hamas,rather to point out the shameful acts of occupation,displacement and ethnic cleansing that led to the recreation of Zionist Israel.Israelis,and the West,like to point out that Israel is the only Human Rights respecting Democracy in the ME.My position is that the Zionist Democracy is a flawed Democracy,founded on occupation and ethnic cleansing. Nevertheless,I believe enough water has passed under the bridge to consider both Peoples to have equal claims on this one land,and a one state solution is the only just solution,after the details have been worked out by the Devil,the UN,America and the West,the Israelis,Palestinians,camels,donkeys,etc. Now,you and I know that Rhodesia never entertained the ethnic cleansing of Shona or Ndebele,and rather paid a high price for their principles.And principles are not worth a damn if you are unwilling to pay that price.I compare Rhodesian and Western values and principles to Zionist values and principles,and Zionist principles come up very short.
