Sermon Title: Glory In Suffering - Gods Wisdom In Suffering II Scriptural Reference: Psalm 22:1, 2:1-3, 107:35-39, Isaiah 54:17, Job 10:27-29, Ecclesiastes 7:8-10, John 10:27-29, Most times when we are going through trials and difficulties we tend to ask lots of questions in our quest to find explanations and reasons for suffering and pain but remember that we cant have explanations for every occurrence. A quote of wisdom when going through challenges is: Dont try to explain everything because explanations dont heal broken hearts. Always remember that in the schemes of God there are no explanations. God does not thrive on explanations. You can lose your senses if you always want to find explanations for everything that happens. Somethings are unexplainable. Learn to be silent about certain issues because Gods purposes will ultimately be fulfilled. Sometimes there are no words fit enough to explain our pain and suffering. Sometimes certain decisions we take are not from us but from the influence of the devil. Sometimes you must not give explanations for your actions because no matter what you say you will not be understood. As believers we must learn not to allow people to set standards which do not conform to the word of God for us. Sometimes silence is golden. Remember God says we must be still and see the salvation of the Lord. 3 Levels Of Evil Operations - Isaiah 54:15-17 1. The Realm Of Imagination / Realm Of The Mind - Psalm 2:1-2 The realm of imagination is the place of incubating plans before execution. Never take lightly what people think or imagine about you. Never joke with the realm of the mind. The mind is a powerful tool for the execution of plans. The amount of knowledge one has determines his/her actions What you have in your head/mind determines your level of commitment. 2. The Realm Of Words / Realm Of The Tongue The tongue or words of man is powerful. Words carry power to make and unmake things. Remember that life and death are in the power of the tongue. Never down play the evil words of men because it is an indication of hatred against you. 3. The Realm Of Enterprise/ Actions / Activity - Isaiah 54:17 The realm of enterprise is the realm where plans are executed. The devil designs evil specifically for us according to our weaknesses. He spends time to assess our weaknesses in other to fashion out a well tailored attack against us. We must therefore not be ignorant of the devices of the devil. We must be vigilant at all times so as to escape the plans of the devil. We live on Gods promises and commands and not on Gods explanations. We must act on the instructions of God and not ask questions. We dont need explanations from God in order to obey Him. He is sovereign and does what is best for us according to His plans and purposes for our lives. We must build our faith and trust on the word of God - Ezekiel 37:8-11. Joseph acquired his wisdom from his period of suffering and pain. This wisdom is that which saved Egypt from famine. Your destiny may be delayed but it cannot be denied. When your life is in the hands of God you dont ask Him questions. Never complain when going through difficult times because God has a specific purpose for your pain and suffering. Only ask God for grace and patience to go through your challenges because one weakness of man is impatience. The enemy will gather against you but God will not endorse their gathering. When you know who you are and what you carry you dont regard the definition from men. When you ascend the throne at the right time you stay on the throne for a long time.
