Sermon Title: The Changeless God Scriptural Reference: Revelations 21:18-21, Numbers 29:1-5, I Samuel 11, Exodus 9:1-7 God does not waver or change. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He has a character of stability, faithfulness and fulfils every promise He makes. The problem is that it is men who change. It is men who waver and are inconsistent with their dealings with God. God in dealing with man uses elements and tokens for the transfer of His power to impact the lives of men. God uses tokens and elements like bread, wine, oil, handkerchief(mantle), salt etc. Another token used by God is the element of stone(s). In Revelation 21:18-20, twelve gem stones are mentioned as the constituents of the foundation of the New Jerusalem. Each of these twelve stones is associated and allocated to each of the twelve months of the year. Stones are synonymous with stability. These gem stones are derived from sea beds, rocks, etc. Significance And Influence Of 4 Gem Stones 1. Emerald This stone is associated with the month of May. The emerald gem stone is synonymous with the following qualities: a) extra ordinary favour b) grace to succeed in every endeavour with least effort c) potentially wealthy d) great leaders with outstanding organisational qualities 2. Amethyst This stone is associated with the month of February Comes in beautiful colours especially in violet and purple variants. The amethyst gem is synonymous with the following qualities: a) enormous wisdom b) high levels of spirituality c) grace of good and perfect health d) aura of great faith 3. Chrysolite(Peridot) This gem stone is associated with the month of August It has the following qualities: a) good health b) happiness c) great harvest reapers when the harvest time is due d) wealth 4. Sapphire Sapphire is associated with the month September. This stone is the stone that God walks on - Exodus 24:10 God therefore expects September Borns to be carriers of His presence and glory. Sapphire has the following qualities and influence a) spirit of faithfulness and loyalty b) deep understanding of love c) good fortune of blessing d) grace for a multiplier effect God in His awesome wisdom has blessed and resourced every human being to be successful and influential. The qualities of the above named stones are expected to influence any person born in the months associated with these stones. God is a God of times, seasons, numbers and colours. He has specific set times for all His dealings with man and situations. The month of August is the month of harvest whiles September is the month of increase. August is the month in which the Jews harvested their olives, grapes and figs. Olives are synonymous with the Oil of Anointing and power. Grapes are synonymous with wine, Holy Spirit, joy and happiness. Figs are for healing and restoration of health. God does not change in sovereignty, character, covenant and in all His attributes. He is a changeless God. What He did in the past and in biblical times He is able to do the same in our present times. Ingredients For Abundant Release Of Blessing In Times Of Crisis 1. God In times of crisis when people are crying for salvation and deliverance because of harsh, difficult and hopeless conditions it is only God who is able to bring freedom and abundance. 2. A Prophet - For God to bring salvation and deliverance He must raise a Prophet. This Prophet must be a bold, strong and courageous representative of Him. 3. The Word of God - A situation of chaos, crisis and difficulties can not change without the word of God. The word of God proclaimed by His Prophet is charged with Gods creative and restorative power and abilities. 4. Faith - faith is a prerequisite for man to connect to God through his word for the release of Gods abundant blessings. Faith is the vehicle for transformation, breakthroughs and miracles. When men turn to God in times of crisis and difficulties God will be moved to repeat Himself like in times of old. As believers we must learn to be faithful, loyal and consistent with God because God does not change. He operates in His times and seasons which no man can alter. When God sets the time no man can unwind. Everyones time for manifestation will surely come. Just wait for the unchanging God
