Sermon Title: We Are Twenty Scriptural Reference: Psalm 90:12, Genesis 31:41-42, Judges 4, Psalm 2:7-9, I Kings 9:10 This weeks sermon for the week is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Royal Ladies Ministry, the womens ministry of Royalhouse Chapel International. God moves in times and seasons. Every season comes with its own grace, anointing and influence. Every number has a spiritual and physical significance. The number twenty is symbolic of the end of waiting and expectancy. It means a complete and perfect waiting period or time has come. Your twentieth year is a year or period in which there is a fulfilment of whatever you have been waiting and expecting. In Genesis 31:41-42, Jacob recounts his hard labour and service in the house of Laban, his uncle. In his twentieth year of living and serving in his uncles house he had his liberty, freedom and fulfilment of whatever he was expecting. The twentieth year is a year of recovery, restoration, reward and restitution. Whatever you have lost or not achieved will be realized in the twentieth year. The twentieth year comes with a special grace for uncommon favour, fulfilment, deliverance and blessing. In Judges chapter 4, it took the power, courage and vision of a woman to bring deliverance and salvation to the people of God. We must never underrate the power and influence of a mother. 1. A mother has the ability to fight for the release of the blessing of her children. 2. A mother has the grace to intercede and intercept calamity aimed at her children. 3. A mother/wife has the power to prevent and hinder the blessings and promotion of her husband and children. 4. Mothers and wives must be honoured and respected so the gates of Gods favour and blessing can released / opened. 5. A mother or wife has the grace to recommend his children to the father for mercy, forgiveness, favour and blessing. Solomon was able to build the Lord a temple in the twentieth year. - I Kings 9:10. The twentieth year releases anointing for building and completion. In biblical times a man was ready to be enrolled into the military and be prepared for war at the age of twenty. This means that the twentieth year is a year of maturity. It is also a year to be prepared for lifes battles and victories. In this week we will be celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Royal Ladies Ministry under the theme, We Are Ready To Conquer. You are invited to the University of Ghana from Thursday, 26th - Sunday, 29th June, 2014 for the 20th Anniversary International Womens Camp Meeting And Conference. As you participate, remember that the twentieth year grace and anointing will be released upon you for victory, recovery and possession.
