Serve to Lead Every Wednesday afternoon, Carson Long cadets are helping the community - both the campus community and the greater community - and developing their organizational and leadership skills. Recent and ongoing projects featured in todays pictures include cleaning up parks and roadways, painting on-campus signs and the JROTC mural, packing backpacks at the Perry County Food Bank, helping set up the Christmas trail at Little Buffalo, and working with local elementary school children in an after school program. Thank you to Mrs. Carolyn Pio for coordinating Carson Longs Lead to Serve program; to all the staff who coordinate projects, transport cadets, and volunteer with them; and to the cadets themselves for their gift of service.
