Service starts early in the Catholic Schools of Fairbanks. On Wednesday, November 27th, the K-2nd grade Immaculate Conception students participated in SIX service projects. They made bean soup mix for the Food Bank, placemats for the Grandparent Luncheon, caring notes to go in food boxes at the Food Bank, tray decorations for the nursing homes, lentil & rice soup mix for the Food Bank, and paper chains to decorate Pioneer Home. At the bean soup station, Luke and his Kindergarten classmates, made about 150 bags of mix! Thank you to everyone for their donations of materials and our volunteers who covered the different stations!
