Set free. Free at last. No more chains. Acts. 16:26. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison was shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every ones bands were loosed. In prayer this morning, Im reminded of a story I read about years ago about a poller bear that was given to the Denver zoo from the Antarctic. There was a push by the citizens of Denver to build a natural habitat for this bear. The bear arrived and was put in a 12ft. by 12ft cage. It took two year to build the natural habitat. The bear in his small cage paced back and forth for the entire time except when it slept. Four steps one way and turn and four steps the other way. Back and forth all day. After two long years, the cage was put in his new home and the door was opened to the cage. The habitat had a stream of cold water, fresh fish to eat and a snow blower with ice in it to make the bear feel at home. The cage was removed and the bear stood up and looked at his new surrounding. After a while it would pace the same four steps each way until it dropped. He had gotten so use to bondage that he couldnt except or believe that he had been set free. What is so sad is that many of you, buy the precious blood of Jesus Christ has been set free from guilt, sorrow, depression, worry, stress and misery and you are allowing the devil to convince you that things will never change. Its the same old pace, worry every day. Why dont you stop, look at what God has prepared for you. Joy, blessings, peace of mind, guilt free and I really believe that we can have some heaven down here. A child of Gods natural habitat is church, prayer, songs, praise and happiness.
