Setting up a target to get sponsored for 1000 children by EO 2014. I feel if every software professional sponsors whom I know sponsors 1 child then we can surely achieves it. It is just Rs 750/- for whole years mid day meal . i.e. just 14 USD or 10 Pounds for entire year... I have seen that in professional world, even after earning few lacs Rs per month we expect project to sponsor lunch for 3-4 hrs meeting... then why not children poor family expect the same when their family income of entire year is less than our monthly income.... My personal experience is most of us say India needs to change, traffic, dirt, corruption, poverty etc... but how many really contribute to make that change? Honestly... I did not do much until recently when I moved form Infosys Sydney to join NGO to work as volunteer...Hope to make some change to India and Indian people... How many are with me...
