Seven Days of Praise - day 2 Day 2 And God said, “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.” And God made the expanse and separated the waters that were under the expanse from the waters that were above the expanse. And it was so. And God called the expanse Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, the second day. (Genesis 1:6-8 ESV) If you are just entering the lesson of the Seven Days of Praise then please I ask that you start at Day One so that you can grasp the definitions and also isn’t it good to start from the beginning since God started at day one and not day two. In this day, there isn’t much need to define words because most of the words used were defined in day one. The words that aren’t defined are translated to be exactly as they are. In some translations, the word expanse is translated as firmament. This does not take away from the definition since the word raqiya’ (raw-kee’-ah) means firmament or expanse. What we will expound on is; what is the firmament called heaven that was made on the second day. Let us continue in our study to understand Elohiym and all his glory as he created the world in six “days”. And God said, “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.” (Genesis 1:6 ESV) A few questions will arise from this verse, I know, I question things a lot myself. What is the expanse exactly? And what waters from what waters? Well, let’s answer both simultaneously. The expanse is not land but what separates the sky from the “earth” or the waters on earth. I know wait, when did that happen. Let’s back up shall we. So in day one, we had a massive energy surge which got things all moving around. Actually things were spinning and as God commands then law is set as He it is seen every time He speaks throughout the bible. Here are laws of gravity and force. We have different molecules forming and differentiating from one another. You have positive and negative forces which just like light and dark, opposing one another but come together to form elements. Science fact; electricity comes from electrons freely moving around not through elements. We have centrifugal forces bringing the heavier denser elements together while magnetism and electricity (electromagnetism) are combining elements at a rapid rate and thus gaseous balls are forming that are became denser balls. Now, from gases to liquids (condensation) is happening from the rapid cooling of the balls that are spinning. Now we have liquids of various forms, but, what is causing the rapid cooling? The water! Beneath the water, we have crust of earth and beneath that liquid metal and rock, magma that is flowing. That metal must’ve been magnetized since two magnets passing by each other produces electricity. Then a magnet that is being electrically charge strengthens the magnet and hence this is electromagnetism in simplicity. Once again, I’m not a science major, for the exact breakdown of what takes place you should see a science teacher, science site or book for better explanation. I, simply, researched the subject in attempts to make a perpetual energy source using magnets. Back to the study, so we have now had a ball of hot metal and lava with a crust of earth over it with a lot of water forming over it. Best part about it, only two elements were necessary for the water, hydrogen and oxygen. Yet, in this galaxy only earth has them together with not life-giving water but life-sustaining water. Water doesn’t produce life but it does sustain in. Now to the expanse, so Elohiym made this firmament, this thing that supports the waters (gases as stated in day one) above and it separates them from the waters below. Now scientifically they are bound by gravity. This expanse is our atmosphere. Now we have like 7 main elements that compose of our atmosphere, all of them used to sustain life. So simply put the expanse is our atmosphere that we called sky but in this day it is called heaven. Now we have two known heavens, sky that is called heaven (heaven 1) and space that is called heaven (heaven 2). Now I labeled sky heaven as heaven 1 because from the earthly view it is how we see it. Later in your studies, you will hear of a third heaven and that is the abode of God. This is a short lesson, so let’s use this one to notice a pattern. One, notice the words used immediately after the name God: said, made, and created. Two, notice the three parts: said, made, being (it was so). Third, pay attention to when God actually says that something is good, it usually signifies completion of a stage. One: Made (‘asah) is not producing from nothing, it is re-creating from existing things more of a bringing forth. God creates, man makes. The energy already existed it was just transferred from one form to the next to accomplish the task. Take notice of when made and created are used in future days. Two: The three parts is broken down to the command, the forming and existing (being, life) of each thing made: The Father: And God said, “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.” The Son: And God made the expanse and separated the waters that were under the expanse from the waters that were above the expanse. The Holy Spirit: And it was so. This pattern will be repeated throughout the creation. Remember, it is the Elohiym family. The Father is simply known as the Father, He doesn’t have any name yet, and we just call him the Creator. The son’s name is Jehovah (Yhovah) Elohiym yet his name won’t be mentioned until the second chapter of Genesis (but still day 6). It is he who forms man out of the dust of the ground but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. The third is Ruwach Elohiym, and as we saw by definition He is life and energy, us recognizing as one and the same. Therefore the Creator was the blueprint maker, the foreman, in these days. The Son was the master builder, fashioning and establishing according to the blueprint(the Father’s will) and the Holy Spirit animated and taught ,what already established, the things according to the Father’s instruction(Law). So, in this, a few more questions should have been answered, what is the Godhead? also, Who is speaking when it says, “Let us create man..”? I hope this sparks some serious study sessions to test that all that was given to me is true. Take no man’s word on what he says for the bible states, “Test all things, and hold fast what is true.” Do this to what is being given from any source as I will also do this to any information from any source. So let us praise God, praise Elohiym together when if we make it to the second day for the making of the sky and the very air we breathe because without it well...
