Seven deaths of seven significant loved ones last spring. Now - TopicsExpress

Seven deaths of seven significant loved ones last spring. Now that autumn is here I am playing a game with fallen leaves based on one principle: when someone dies we grieve the entirety of his or her life. Our memory of them is a composite of the totality of the lives they lived. A bright red maple leaf on my driveway reminded me of Katherine Allen. A brown and broken leaf with a tiny edge of green brought my father to mind. A twig with three leaves in various stages of change caused me to think of Tara Ziegner. I wont go on. This autumn shall never come again, nor shall departed loved ones. One day, I shall be taken to where they are and I do believe well share a singular eternal springtime in a whole new heaven and earth.
