Seven flames of the Cosmic Fire – Upanishads Beginning of the Creation starts with Akshara Brahma being split into innumerable fireballs (Universes?) these consist of seven flames of the Cosmic Fire. These are 1.) Kali – black, Black fire? Are they talking about the Dark Energy or Dark Matter? 2.) Karali – the terrific one The terrific one? No idea what is meant by this. 3.) Manojava – swift as mind Swift as mind? Means faster than light? Present science knows nothing that travels faster than light. 4.) Salohita – deep red No idea what they are talking about. 5.) Sudhumravarna – smokey Smokey? Do they mean Dark Energy or Dark Matter? 6.) Sphaligini – sparkling No idea. 7.) Viswaruchi – having all forms No idea. Lot of text is lost, hope not forever. We will have to wait for someone to find the text or interpret the available text better.
