Seven things you probably didnt know about me: 1) I was adopted at birth. I didnt meet my birth parents until I was nearly 40. 2) Before I played guitar & bass, my first instrument was cello. I was pretty good, too. Held on to first chair in the cello section of the orchestra through my sophomore year. 3) I was devastated when my best childhood friend moved away to CA when I was 7, but we kept in touch, writing letters until we were 16, then lost touch for 30 years. He grew up to be quite opposite of me: a corporate attorney, Lt Col in the army, and a right-wing blogger. We have been reconnected for about three years now and are still good friends :) 4) I can almost always tell if something is going to fit into or through a space just by looking. 5) I met Pete Townshend in Hollywood, John Entwistle in Cincinnati, and Roger Daltrey in the Caribbean; years apart from each other. I also gave upright bass lessons to Keith Moons daughter Mandy. I was an obsessive Who fan in high school and beyond, so these were important moments for me. 6) I had a recurring childhood dream that dinosaurs showed up in my neighborhood while me and my friends were playing and attacked us. 7) I used to drive a taxi, for Clifton Cab Co., back in the bad old days.
