Seventeen years ago today Catie, Olivia Nina and I were sad because our grandma went to heaven. I still miss her every day. I wish my children knew her. She was the most wonderful person in our world. Last April we said farewell to Uncle Edwin, her brother. I know he was as wonderful a grandpa as his sister was a grandma. Today, I found out that a good friends brother passed away yesterday. It seems like so many friends have lost people the love so much this year (and every year). Fathers, sons, sisters, friends. I know it is part of life. Every day I am grateful for my family and friends. We have all lost loved ones. We all know that pain and sadness can last for years even if we know that person is in heaven. Lets try to remember that when we talk to other. Lets try to enjoy the moments we spend together and forgive each other a little faster because life is so short and we all want to be happy and loved.
