Seventy five percent (75%) of my family are Italian. I just wanted to buy some peace at home and hence I decided to support Italy :P . Then I found out that there are in fact plenty of solid reasons for Bangladeshi people to support Italy. Most of the players from Brazil and Argentina play in different Italian clubs and make their living including Maradona. They are the GREAT sponsor of football. Remember Roberto Baggio, Salvatore Scillaci, Maldini, Del Piero ………. Besides, Italy is the home of the second largest population of Bangladeshi living in Europe. My wife often wonders if these people and their family members support Italy. During the last world cup she looked at the number of flags of different football playing countries from the rooftop and she was shocked that there was hardly any Italian flag in the sea of flags of Brazil and Argentina. She even once asked if Brazil and Argentina supported us during our liberation war.
