Several days ago the truck started dancing on the road. I thought it was just some really bad pavement. Then it did it on smooth pavement, but only around 55 or so. I thought it might be that one of my front wheel balancing weights fell off. Well, it was time for its 5K mile alignment. Nope, turns out to have been a worn out front stabilizing bar. When I looked into it, I remembered seeing something like this on a TV show a couple years ago. They called it the F250 Death Wobble. https://youtube/watch?v=8EuQ6f8rgT4 Thank goodness I got to it soon so no additional damage happened or an accident, especially if towing the trailer. Simple repair, just replace the part and all is well. Here is a video I found. The fun starts about 1:10 into the video. Apparently this happens on a lot of 4WD vehicles. Fords, Jeeps and Dodge being the most notable.
