Several months ago we lost a great guy, a friend, a brother, and a son. After a walk home one night in the early hours of a November night in 2013, Pip Vorontsov went missing. In late January of 2014 our fears were confirmed by the media. Pip worked at Unity Nightclub, Newcastle in its early days and was a strong supporter of the club and what it stood for. On Saturday, Feb 1 2014 UNITY raised money for Pips family by holding a tribute night and raised over $700 that was given to his family in mid-February. Pips mother Mary asked that the money raised go toward a guitar for his younger brother Giles. The guitar was to symbolise Pips love of music, his talents and a way for Pips love of guitar to live on in the heart his brother. Today we received images from Giles with his new guitar and a message that read Here are some photos with me and the guitar that everyone from UNITY raised. I am so grateful for all the thought and effort you, Ash and everyone else put in. Giles
