Several people asking me why we aint done nothing for the Easter weekend? Very simple and easy what sense it makes when you have boat load going Statia and on top of that you have to put in your request 3 weeks before the event to get a permit. Frankly speaking that three week business in my opinion and my book is utter nonsense. What advice does one need if a person want to organize an event? Sending it to the Police for sure is a total waste of time because they do not even show up at these type of events neither to patrol or to oversee. Plus the organizers of any event is being forced and told they have to look for security which is utter nonsense and only costing the organizers money and they are already trying to raise funds. A little two by two island with all this stupid procedures. We do not need all that type of business here this place is way to small. Way to much damn red tape just to get a simple permit to even organize a food sale. We cannot blame this on the Dutch for sure. I see this as pure power being abused. I make these statements without any apologies also. Who get vex dat dem business. Straight Out. If Saba was big like Curacao or them islands I guess you would have to send it in 3 months before your event. Pure bull.
