Several things seem problematic about the authors conclusions. For one, it assumes that people with high SES, i e, wealthy and upper-class people, are always genetically superior. I have spent time with people from many different social classes. That includes quite a few young people from wealthy and upper-class family backgrounds, and usually they seemed to me unexceptional both intellectually and physically. Some of them below average. The fact that your parents or grandparents or great-grandparents were very good at making money doesnt automatically make them exceptional in other respects. In fact, it may mean that they were deficient in certain important respects. It is true that there is a circular relationship between society and race, something discussed by Wilhelm Mühlmann. The character of a society is determined by the hereditary characteristics of the population, but the hierarchy, norms and values of a society also have a selective effect on the population, selecting for some characteristics and against others. But the type of society we live in – a liberal-capitalist society – does not necessarily select for characteristics that constitute what I would consider real human quality. Another is the claim that the new self-filtering elite will be transracial. If the filtering is really based on things like intellectual ability or even physical beauty, sub-saharans, as well as several other racial groups will probably be filtered out more or less completely. I dont know know enough about genetics to make a judgment about if and when it would be possible to use genomic manipulation to engineer geniuses or superior human beings (thus dissolving biological identity). Land thinks this is going to happen in the near future. Whether or not it will, it sounds like it is based on a somewhat simplistic notion of what constitutes human quality. Yes, intelligence is largely hereditary, but there are many other factors that play in in ways that I dont think can be controlled. What do you think? alternative-right.blogspot.se/2014/10/hyper-racism.html
