Sh. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi & I filed complaint against Congess & Sh. Rahul Gandhi for violating Model Code of Conduct by his speech. We have demanded action against Sh. Rahul Gandhi & de-recognition of Congress as national party for repeated violation of Model Code of Conduct. Sh. Rahul Gandhis attempt is to mislead people by character assassination of BJP & RSS, based on completely baseless allegations & propaganda. It has become routine for Congress leaders to violate Model Code by making baseless accusations against BJP & its leaders, despite warnings by EC. Present violation is 6th instance of Model Code violations by senior Congress leaders during last six months, 5 of which are by Sh. Rahul Gandhi. In view of persistent violations by Congress leaders, Election Commission should exercise power under Para 16A of the Election Symbols (Reservation and Allotment) Order, 1968 & de-recognise the Congress.
