Shabbat Shalom! people, especially western Christians, have a non-Hebraic (and wrong) definition faith. it is not a feeling or a set of words. it is not belief in the sense of head knowledge. what faith IS: an thought, word or deed IN LINE with the Word; an ACTION that is righteous. so it is of course truth that without faith it is impossible to please Elohim and that faith in Messiah will lead to salvation. actual and true saving faith means that you walk as Messiah did. we all sin accidentally which is a 1 John 1:9 situation. 1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous that He may forgive us the sins, and may cleanse us from all unrighteousness. When we WILLFULLY sin after knowing the truth and being baptized, it is a Heb 10:26 situation. Heb 10:26-27 For if we are willfully sinning after receiving the full knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice concerning sins, (27) but he is ready for the fearful judgment and zealous fire being about to consume the adversaries. (Isa. 26:11) There is a DIFFERENCE in accidental sin and willful sin. the latter is iniquity and is strictly wide path behavior. People who claim that it is impossible to stop iniquity are denying Scripture and calling the Messiah a liar. Mat 7:13-23 Go in through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are the ones entering in through it. (14) For narrow is the gate, and constricted is the way that leads away into life, and few are the ones finding it. (15) But beware of the false prophets who come to you in sheeps clothing, but inside they are plundering wolves. (16) From their fruits you shall know them. Do they gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles? (17) So every good tree produces good fruits, but the corrupt tree produces evil fruits. (18) A good tree cannot produce evil fruits, nor a corrupt tree produce good fruits. (19) Every tree not producing good fruit is cut down and is thrown into fire. (20) Then surely from their fruits you shall know them. (21) It will not be that just everyone who says to Me, Master, Master, will enter into the kingdom of Heaven, but the ones who do the will of My Father in Heaven. (22) Many will say to Me in that day, Master, Master, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name do many works of power? (23) And then I will declare to them, from everlasting, I never knew you; depart from Me, those working lawlessness! (iniquity) (Psa. 6:8) notice who IS in Heaven... the ones who do the will of My Father in Heaven. Those who preach a greasy grace, sin all you like Gospel are in fact anti-messiah and heretics of the most dangerous and popular kind. almost every Christian believes they can continue a life of daily iniquity, say they are sorry and it is all good with the Father. these folks are deceived and on the wide path leading to destruction just as if they were a full-fledged heathen.
