“Shadi Mubarak” scheme – Rules may be relaxed – Mahmood Ali Hyderabad, October 13: Dy. CM of Telangana State, Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali told that Govt. of Telangana has decided to relax certain sections of the guidelines of “Shadi Mubarak” scheme. He also told that very soon a decision will be taken to appoint secretary of Minorities Welfare. He conducted a meeting with the officials of Minorities Welfare in which Shadi Mubarak and other schemes were reviewed. Mr. Jalaluddin Akbar, Special Officer of Wakf Board, Prof. S.A. Shukoor, MD of Minorities Finance Corporation and other officials attended the meeting. Dy. CM instructed the officials to relax the guidelines of Shadi Mubarak Scheme. He further told that Mr. KCR is very much interested and serious about the implementation of Shadi Mubarak Scheme. Govt. will arrange 40000 marriages of poor girls with the help of this scheme. He instructed the officials to drop the condition of production of SSC Hall ticket etc. He assured that budget will be released for the implementation of this scheme. Aadhar card and Income certificate of less than Rs. 2 lakh income should be produced. He assured that he will make a representation to CM for the release of Rs. 2 crore for Hajj Committee.
