Shahid Kapoor - 1996 to 2014 ~ 1996 Remember this adorable teenager from Aryan’s track, Aankhon Mein Tera Hi Chehra? Who knew he would one day set millions of hearts racing! 2003 With a child-like smile and newly-grown muscles, Shahid was the perfect naughty brat of Bollywood in his debut film, Ishq Vishk (above). His college kid-looks didn’t impress critics but was a hit with young girls. 2004-2005 The starry-eyed looks complemented his mischievous, endearing smile and charmed the audience for the next couple of years. His films such as Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi! (above), Fida, Dil Maange More, 36 China Town (above, right) and Chup Chup Ke, all were high on the ‘cuteness’ quotient. His long fringes further added to his boy-next-door image. 2006 The actor, who has mostly played the role of a cool, urban lad, was seen as the traditional son in Sooraj Barjatiya’s Vivah, sporting a neatly-combed hairstyle. The film helped him take babysteps to his now popular suavity. 2007 Sporting chic mufflers and rimless frames — Shahid transformed into the brooding young man with Jab We Met. The film proved instrumental in changing his image and took his career to new heights. 2008 By now, Shahid was in that league of stars who could get away with anything.
