But every film of his teaches us a moral. No no! Not the gyaan type. I’m talking about the kind of love stories Shahrukh Khan’s films come up with. KUCH KUCH HOTA HAIN Firstly, you have to decide if you find SRK and Rani Mukherjee better or SRK and Kajol better. Shahrukh falls in love with his principal’s daughter (Rani Mukherjee) in the first half and then once again falls in love with his college best friend (Kajol) in the second half. Phew!! MOHABATTEIN Once again Shahrukh Khan falls in love with the Principal’s daughter. This time with a lot more drama and over-action. A student of Gurukul, he falls for Aishwarya Rai, who plays the daughter of the principal. Hey! Did you notice that in both these films (KKHH and Mohabattein), both the princy’s daughter’s die? Umm..scary!! KABHI KHUSHI KABHI GHAM I’m going to be nice now. I like the film. I like Shahrukh and Kajol’s jodi. But since we’re talking about their love story let me tell you that Shahrukh essayed the role of a rich business man. And Kajol? His naukar’s beti! KAL HO NA HO ‘mere saamne wali khidki mein ek chand ka tukda rehta hai…’ No! This is not from this film. I was just humming it because the song seemed so apt for the story of this film. SRK falls in love with Priety Zinta, who is his neighbor! KABHI ALVIDA NA KEHNA In this film we see SRK falling in love with Rani Mukherjee who happens to be Abhishek Bachchan’s wife. Doosro ki biwi se pyaar!! Oh my! Wait, did I tell you he was already married to Priety Zinta and had a son in this film? Hadd hai! PARDES He saw her. She saw him. They fell in love. And they lived happily ever after. Haha. Just kidding. She is his friend’s fiance. There is a lot of drama and action and sentimental dialogues before SRK successfully takes his ‘friend’s fiance’ and makes her his own. DIL SE So now that SRK is bored of falling in love with all common girls, he decides to try something new. This film has way too much drama and the best part is that this time he falls in love with a terrorist. Boss, aap great ho!! MAIN HOON NA Shahrukh Khan falls in love with his chemistry teacher in this one. Well, we do not blame SRK for going gaga over his teacher. Now if your chemistry teacher is so hot I’m pretty sure you will top in chemistry!! VEER ZAARA 1. He is from India and she is from Pakistan. 2. He is Hindu and she is Muslim. And cupid strikes!! Okay okay, we know love knows no boundaries and blah blah!! CHENNAI EXPRESS What happens when two opposite poles meet? Firstly, they will clash against each other, make some noise and then stick together. This is exactly what happens in Chennai Express. Shahrukh, from Mumbai, falls in love with Deepika, the daughter of a South Indian Don!! Too brave eh? OM SHANTI OM I love Bradley Cooper. I dream of him all the time. But that doesn’t mean I go and chase him everywhere or rather ‘stalk’ him, na? But Shahrukh Khan is different! In this film, he plays the role of an aam aadmi who falls head over heels for a super hit actress played by Deepika Padukone and does everything possible to woo her. Huh, Bollywood I tell you!!
