Shaikh Jehad Ismail... Its worth mentioning that Shaikh Jehad Ismail is a unique figure with a unique approach in preaching his message. Not that i agree with 10% of his teachings or opinions, or even the Marja Taqlid he follows. But the truth is the truth, he is a good and wonderful man. Besides the fact that he is a good friend of my father and teachers, i attended his lectures since i was 13 years old in Australia. He knows very well that i dont agree with most of what he has to say, and i too... know very well that he doesnt agree with most of my views as well. Although his background and nationality does play a big role in his mission, i dont think he has the intention to misguide anyone. Now why do i say this? We Shirazis have absolutely zero tolerance towards the followers of Fadhlulah, and i proudly consider myself an enemy to the teachings of Fadhlulah, his sons and representatives. However, i find amongst this entire Fadhlulahi atmosphere, a clear fact, and that is that Shaikh Jehad Ismail is different; and i speak of someone i know. Shaikh Jehad is not narrow minded, thick headed nor uneducated. He is very very approachable, and is someone who would follow what he believes is the truth. I dont find him to be an enemy to any body. Nobody forced me to write this, i dont live off Shaikh Jehad, he doesnt pay me, i am not affiliated with him, and the last time i saw him was around 2005. But i say with a confident heart, that hacking his website is a terrible thing for anyone to do. And is definitely not the teachings of the Shirazi family. The Shirazi office has a powerful media department filled with engineers and technicians. They could hack websites belonging to Iran if they wanted to... but its not our role in life to be doing so. Let Shaikh Jehad spread his words, and we will spread our words, and let the people judge and follow who they wish to follow. Im not here defending Shaikh Jehad, Im here defending my Marja Taqlid.
