Shaima is from Beit Hanoun in Gaza. She has just lost her mother and her sisters, along with her home, which was torn apart during the recent shelling. Shaima has been badly injured and is suffering from shock. Her father and brother are the only remaining survivors left in her family. Human Appeal has been busy distributing toys to injured children at the Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza. Among the children is little Shaima who, as the pictures show, is too traumatised to enjoy her new gifts. Please give generously in these final days of Ramadan.
