Shallendra Kumar , Dr.Samoon and Watali to monitor relief & rehabilitation Work: Srinagar, Sept 17: Shallendra Kumar, Commissioner Secretary Tourism and Cultural Department, has been deployed as Special Relief Commissioner Central Kashmir to monitor the rescue, relief and rehabilitation in the flood affected areas. A formal order in this regard was issued by the General Administration Department. Dr. Asgar H Samoon ( Commissioner) and Shafqat Ali Wattali ( IGP) have been sent to South Kashmir to monitor the relief and rehabilitation of the flood affected persons. According to an another order, six KAS officers have been temporary deployed with the Director CAPD Kashmir for providing assistance and distribution of ration etc at various places across Kashmir Valley. These officers include Mohammad Ashraf Wani (Jt Director I&C Kashmir), Shafqat Iqbal (Jt Director Information, Kashmir), Bashir Ahmad Lone (Addl Secy in CM’s Secretariat), Shabir Ahmad Bhat (CEO Dudhpathri), Mehraj-ud-Din Rather (Secy Women Commission) and Munib-ul-Hassan (General Manager DIC Srinagar).
