Share - IN THE NAME OF ALLAH THE GRACIOUS EVER MERCIFUL Postponement of Atfal Nasrat Ijtema Assalam alaikum Warahmatullah Wabarrakatuhu I have the very difficult task of announcing the Postponement of the Atfal/ Nasrat Ijtema which we had scheduled to hold at the Queen Elizabeth College Ilorin, Kwara between the 17th and 24th August, 2014. The decision to postpone the program was taken because of the advice from the Federal Government of Nigeria that religious programs and other programs that will involve the participation of more than 500 participants should be postponed in order to effectively control the spread of the deadly Ebola virus which is spreading in the country at an alarming rate. It is very important to note that the leadership of the Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya and Lajnah Immaillah, Nigeria had to take the painful decision, in order to support the efforts of the Government to curtail the spread of the deadly virus. In taking the decision we also took cognisance of the fact that the program is a childrens program and it would be extremely difficult to make the Kids to adhere to the basic hygiene rules required to ensure effective protection from the disease, especially when they are in a group. The leadership of the Majlis Khuddam and Lajnah Immaillah acknowledges the tremendous effort that has been invested by the organizers of the event, especially our hosts, the Jamaat and other members in Ilorin, we however believe that it is only Allah the Almighty that can adequately reward all our efforts in His course . However, we will like to state that the program will Insha Allahu be held in Ilorin Kwara State whenever it will hold. We also solicit the continuous prayers of all members of the Ahmadiyya Community for our dear nation in this very trying period.
