Urban and community forests broadly include urban parks, street trees, landscaped boulevards, public gardens, river and coastal promenades, green-ways, river corridors, wetlands, nature preserves, natural areas, shelter belts of trees and working trees at industrial brownfield sites. Urban and Community Forestry is at a turning point. We are now developing a new Action Plan for the next ten years, a plan that will guide all of our work through 2026.
