Shared this on instagram but not facebook. On 12/18/ 2014 I had an older gentleman come into Perkins he ordered $21 worth of food and left me a $10 tip.... and this. I normally wouldnt share something like this, because I feel its boasting... but I HAVE to brag about God! When I was asking this gentleman what he would like to drink and if he had any questions he didnt specifically answer my questions. Due to having a busy section and only being human I got a little irritated. I instantly corrected myself though and began to pray. I asked God to give me the strength and patience to treat this gentleman with the love that he intends... After changing my mind and my heart, God confirmed that this guy wasnt being rude or purposely ignoring what I said, but he had his own thoughts and intentions in mind... how often do we pass up on blessings because we are too self-consumed? How many times do we give up and opportunity to help someone because we need the money more? This man inspired me... and reminded me that God does exist and he will use us in beautiful ways, but only if we allow him. -J #jisforjesus
