Shared 陸靚 40 minutes ago near New York, NY As many of you know I am not a person that likes controversy nor drama. I stay to myself and am very quiet most of the time but I feel there is a need to share my story with hopes to shed some light on to others so that others may learn from my bad experience. It’s a very long story but I feel I need to share as much as I can so that I can get the message across. Back in March 2012 I sold one of my puppies to a lady in Arizona. The puppy was sold as a PET per my contract and to be spayed within a year. In January 2013, just before the year was up, the owner approached me wanting to buy breeding rights. At the time I had a friend/mentor in Arizona who advised me to sell the litter as pets because she felt there was an issue of undescended testicle in the dogs lines. Of course I listened even though I had no issues with my puppies. I in return told the buyer of the puppy that she was sold as a pet not for breeding because she had dogs in her lines with undescended testicles and this would not better the breed. This does not threaten the health of the puppy, the puppy was perfectly healthy, and the puppy was sold as PET ONLY. Needless to say the owner was not happy about the news. Both ladies are friends, the owner of the pup and my friend/mentor at the time. I never gave her the puppy’s registration papers. I never signed the puppy off to her nor stated she had breeding rights. At one point she emailed me about showing the pup just for fun and at the time ICKC was going through some new changes and they needed Pedigrees. So I emailed her a copy of the unofficial copy BBIR sends out to the breeders when litters are registered. Sometime in May 2013 I found out the lady bred the female pup I sold her. I in return contacted her to let her know that I knew and that she shouldnt have bred the dog in the first place but it is too late and at this point she would have to pay for breeding rights. Her response was she felt she didn’t have to being that she bought a defective dog and will breed her regardless. I tried getting in touch with her again but she blocked me on her emails and FB. I immediately contacted BBIR in May 2013 to inform them about my issue and that I never transferred the pedigree and the dog should be pet only, BBIR in return assured me they would NOT register the litter and would explicitly note in the system that this dog will be pet only with me never signing over the registration card. Time passes by and I find out the litter was registered with IBC in Germany. Again one very easy way to go about on getting papers for unregistered dogs. It seems she used the unofficial pedigree to register them. This was done without my signature nor her name stated as the owner. To top it all off I find out one of the puppies was sold to my friend/mentor for BREEDING, the same mentor/friend that advised me to sell my puppies in the first place as pet only because of the issue in their lines. Furthermore, I find out the entire litter was dual registered with BBIR ! Not everyone knows how to circumvent registration...but I know my friend/mentor knows of it. It seems the friend/mentor is singing a different tune now as I can’t figure out why she would want a pup from a dog that she advised me to sell as pet only because the pups have bad lineage. Go figure ... I immediately contacted BBIR (April 2014) when I found out the pup was dual registered and being shown in ICKC and asked them why they went ahead and registered a litter that was not supposed to be registered in the first place by my request. Furthermore this dog had a USA registry but was submitted to BBIR with German IBC pedigrees, which is a red flag. I re-sent BBIR the original email conversation from March 2013 in which they replied and acknowledged my request to not register the dog or transfer ownership by noting in their system for this dog to remain pet only and registered under my name.... I requested BBIR to please revoke their registry being they used unofficial documentation to do so. As per BBIR’s rules the dog has to be signed off by the breeder to the new owner which never happened. I also placed a complaint to BBCA concerning the issue being the friend/mentor is a director and member of the club for unethical reasons along with a $25.00 fee. As of today I have yet to get a response from BBIR and BBCA. I have been waiting patiently hoping they would see this as a serious issue. Most of us register with BBIR. I trusted them but needless to say I am very disappointed on how unprofessional they have handled my matter. I trusted my friend/mentor. I trusted BBIR and BBCA. This is where I am today. I cannot do anything at this point other than let the public know what has happened . I do not wish this upon anyone and hope my lesson learned is a lesson taught.
