Sharing.... During the holiday season I always stop and give thanks for all the good that has come my way and to the horses here at the rescue. I am also reminded of those that are less fortunate and life has changed for them. On Sunday 12/7 Reindeers Cookie and Maybellene will be spreading some holiday cheer to the residents at Cummings Assisted Living and Nursing Home in Howland. A year ago, Merla Roy had asked if I would consider bringing a mini to visit her mom where she resides at Cummings. And what a beautiful day that was as Lily, the therapy mini, greeted everyone! When Audrey Bishop asked if I would accept Cookie and Maybellene at the rescue, she also let me know that her wish would be to know that her two minis would bring happiness to others. Sunday will be a day of wishes coming true as Cookie and Maybellene visit the residents at Cummings Nursing Home. Merry Christmas....
