Sharing the Sangla story. It is no fun getting stranded at a scenic place in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. The snow capped hills, the apple orchards, the greenery, the valley down below with meandering Baspa river enchants the tourists no end, but in the back of the mind there is always the lurking uncertainty of resuming the journey to home. Four days of unsceduled stay and finally helicopter evacuation took me to Rampur and that was great relief.
