Sharing this message I received from a young friend that Ill keep anonymous....and hope that it resonates within you in some way-and allows you, pushes you to offer words of encouragement & love also. JoAnne, At a time marked by tragedy in your life, I feel it more necessary than ever to let you know how much I appreciate having had you in my life, and how the world is better for your presence in it. I wish I had understood when I was young the lessons you strove to teach me, but I want you to know that your work was/is not in vain, and that my life is better because you were/are in it. Even today as we are only connected through social media, I continue to learn about the person that I am and want to be through the things you say and do. You are a constant inspiration for me to do and be good in this world, and I take this life for granted less than ever because I have come to understand that people can be fundamentally good and that this world is beautiful even in its darkest corners. I hope that you continue to inspire people, because I cannot fathom a more fitting or more important role for you to play. I hope also that you continue to know that, despite the suffering we must endure in this life, there is so much good all around us and you continue to be a source of that goodness. I am anxious that our paths should cross again some day. Until then, I am sending positive and grateful energy your way. All the best to you and yours. Give my love to Matt and the pups.
