Sharing this out of Love - A new movie is out that is called Holy Ghost starring many well known people in the contemporary Christian world. This movie is NOT from the true Holy Spirit. One of the main stars in the movie is Brian Welch from the band Korn, I wish I was saying formerly of the band Korn, but he went back after saying he would never do so because that would be going backwards. Well, I was sent this Youtube video youtu.be/zErzutNJ7O0 which was quite an eye opener and saddened me to the point of tears. If you have watched the movie Holy Ghost and thought it was great, please examine it against the light of scripture. What I saw was nothing short of blasphemous and mysticism. Before I get accused of putting God in a box, lets think on the things of God, they are Holy which means set apart. We cant simply add the name of the Father, Son or Holy Ghost to something, become passionate about that thing and call it the work of the Holy Ghost, it MUST line up with scripture, IT MUST!!! What I saw was the removing of the Holy Ghost from his high and holy position and shoving him into a worldly box of silliness and cultural relativism. The video attached to this post will sadden you or I hope it does, pray for Brian that he will have true repentance and FLEE from this way of life. After watching this I am truly concerned that Brian was never truly saved. Why did I post this you may ask? Because I know many people personally who have seen and endorsed this movie and it grieves my heart to think they believe this is really a work of the Holy Ghost, Holy Spirit, Spirit of God or Gods Spirit, whatever name you normally use, I think we disconnect God from the Spirit sometimes, they are one. We need to know the truth I know many people who say we should never say anything about people, but sometimes to warn people of something you have to mention names of the ones who are connected to the thing that should be warned against. The main reason I am saying something is because I Love Jesus too much to be silent. What I am doing is not unloving, to share the truth is the most loving thing a person can do, especially when it comes to Christ. I cant stand to see the Spirit of God dragged through the mud. Father PLEASE forgive us.
