Sharing this prayer to our brothers & sisters who have lost love ones and all the survivors of the quake at Bohol. May God bless them all. A SURVIVORS PRAYER Dear Heavenly Father, I pray for the survivors of earthquakes, as the loss of life and destruction is great. I pray for those who are left in these emergency situations, as the construction of buildings have fallen like toothpicks on the ground around them. Loved ones hurt, sickness abounds. As life is filled with stress and distress after the sudden earthquake tragedy. Provide a way where there is none Lord. Reach the needs of your people as they call out your name. Bring back the inhabitants who are scattered, lay open the ground for suvivors yet to be rescued Oh Lord we pray. Lean your ear to their plea, provide for their sustanance, for we know you alone are the answer to their plight. You alone Lord are an ever present help in time of need. May water reach their thirst, and food reach their stomach. May the earthquake desolation left in the city give up lost souls in need of help and your salvation. What Satan meant for harm Lord, use and turn around for your good (Gen. 50:20). The city of chaos is broken, in need of your healing hand of mercy, grace, and love. May the curse be broken upon the land of the living, giving glory to your works Oh Lord. Take the hand of the survivor and give them hope as they wail in sorrow. Let them see with you Lord, that future tomorrow is bright, filled with life everlasting. Provide the survivors spirit encouragement, and a sense of peace. Their outcry is great, but you Oh Lord are greater, and worthy to be praised. Though terror, pit and snare confront us, and transgression lies heavy at times. We know you Lord are the answer to all our problems in life. We pray you heal the earthquake survivors heart and land, as they place their faith, hope, and trust in you Oh Lord.
