Sharing with you what my guest has written on the evening... By Chance, Petra The Art exhibition commenced. Petra had named it ‘Chance’. The invited guests have arrived and the cocktail party has started. Men & women holding glasses of white & red wine roamed around appreciating the paintings. The centre of the room had a c-shaped structure with 3 symmetrically placed paintings. The center piece was predominantly in yellow ocher colour. Petra in her beautiful brown dress stood in front of it and started her welcome speech. The moment where the long cherished aspirations turned into reality. The moment of extreme happiness. I just tried to freeze that moment. I stored it into my memory, everlasting for this life…! I could spot tears in her eyes. Tears of joy that comes only on moments when long cherished dreams come true. Her voice reverberated. She said “look at these pictures, they will talk to you”. I looked at the yellow chrome colored canvas behind her once again. I saw the butterflies. I felt like I was flying. Yes indeed. I could see it now in three-dimensional form. The colours started spreading out. It occupied all parts of the room. The whole room is now yellow chrome in colour. All the people turned into butterflies….following Petra, the angel flying high above in the sky and exactly depicting the picture. Yes, once again I confirmed the lady in the picture is none other than Petra herself. Life is beautiful. This moment is beautiful. Petra made it happen. A sudden burst of clapping. The speech was over. The moment of joy prevailed. It is to remain in my memory for ever…!! For ever….!! Once again I recollected the fact Petra reminded us, “it is an amazing fact that you happen to meet a person by Chance and the person becomes your friend, friend for life”…it is amazing….!! ….… by Krish, written by Chance The Rapper
