Shark Fishing was Red Hot Thursday at the Mud Hole with 18 Blue Sharks, 14 taken on light spinning gear! Fridays trip produced some nice keeper bass on the North end Of Block Island. Bass fishing also remains hot on the South West corner and SW. Ledge. The Snug Harbor Shark Tournament Day 1: We fished a temperature break 62 miles to the east which had 68-60 degree break, tons of life, bait, porpoise in the slick. We caught 40 Blue sharks that day fishing the warm and cold side of the break. No Makos no Threshers. Day 2: Sucked!!! Very, very, very, slow! That was the general consensus across the board after talking with other anglers from the tournament. Looking forward to Striped Bass, Fluke and some Tuna trips this week!
