* Shawshank Story # 5.1 * 24 July, 7:01 AM Never trust film-makers. They live in a dreamy world and know nothing about the realities of life. They show convicts escaping from prison at night. How impractical, since at night all conventional exit routes are closed, and guarded by sleepy, but armed, policemen. In the real world, prison-breaks happen in broad daylight. So do all the related pre-escape activities. For instance, imagine me digging a tunnel. I would be foolish to dig a tunnel at night, when everything is quiet and sound can travel really far, completely unobstructed. My time is now. Its early morning, and many inmates are out in the bathing area. Others are in the prayer room, chanting mantras. There is a general bustle all around. Now is my time to act, in broad daylight, when everyones alert, and everyones fresh. ~ Abhijit Part 5.2 soon.
