She had discovered Painful memories revisited Her over and over until She had learnt her lesson Going through the same motions Until the mind had the strength To break a pattern And take another path She would not feel any better A lesson would keep revisiting Her until she had learnt from it In order to move on from Going down the same behaviour patterns So she decided today to look At her blessings and the many Supportive people in her life It took her away from being Fixated just on one avenue When there were so many Other ways to look at things She felt happy she was able To detach from a fixation Which almost triggered her Her back muscles were so Tight until she asked her mind To look elsewhere For a source of comfort And happiness It came eventually She was calm again Enjoying this slow Sunny afternoon The laughter and giggles Of her kids in the background
