She is ... absolutely ... but ... ... the word retarded in its most generic sense has nothing to do necessarily with her condition, and so is a perfectly valid insult to throw at someone who deserves it ... and when you understand the meaning of the word properly, youll understand why this is not only not an insult to her when used in this way against such people, but is actually a compliment to her given the fact that she likely would not make the same mistakes as those who do not have her physiological dysfunction ... hence the retardation of their thinking process, has rendered them incapable of what this girl can figure out ... in fact if anything, Id say the problem is that using the word retard or retarded for HER is the insult, she may have a dysfunction of some kind, but that does not necessarily mean shes in any way retarded the way they are ... its far more correct to use it for them than for her, and part of the historical prejudice of the medical industry that such terms were used. So Ill continue to use the word retarded ... not for her, but for them ... the people whom have no excuse, and yet cannot think & feel as this girl does.
