She is like a totally 80s babe, fer sure! She is an actress of television and film. She started her career working on television and was discovered by producer Norman Lear in an open casting call. As a child actor she appeared in episodes of Different Strokes and The Facts of Life. She landed a starring role in the short-lived sitcom Square Pegs opposite Sarah Jessica Parker. She would go on to appear on episodes of Family Ties, Seinfeld and E.R.. She also worked on the HBO series Dream On and later on in Entourage. She has also starred in several made for television films. Some of those films are; For Members Only, True Love, Undercover Christmas, Fighting the Odds: The Marilyn Gambrell Story, and Lost Holiday: The Jim and Suzanne Shemwell Story. She also portrayed Gilda Radner in the TV movie, Gilda Radner: Its Always Something. She was nominated for an Emmy Award for her work in the series Ally McBeal and starred in her own sitcom Still Standing. She recently has appeared in episodes of Modern Family and currently stars in the series The Neighbors. Her film career started with small roles in films such as Endless Love, Sixteen Candles, Alphabet City, Quiksilver, Crossroads and Solarbabies She started landings high profile roles in films such as The Lost Boys, Less Than Zero, Listen to Me, Sibling Rivalry, Renegades, Twister, Jersey Girl and in Keeping up with the Steins.
