Sheen update! Her temp has finally returned to normal and her heart rate is staying where the vet would like it! The swelling on her muzzle area is being chalked up to irritation from the forever many syringe doses of 2 cups of Metamucil last night and from her bunking her nose on something when she falls asleep standing up and forgets her head needs to be held up or rested down. (Shes extremely exhausted) when the bute wears off we will know where we stand temp wise. She is being treated for stomach and colon ulcers (she could natural produce the acids that cause them. They are not all caused by stress like some people think) shes also being treated for several different kinds of colics since we are not exactly sure what is going on. So we are treating her for everything possible hoping to stop what ever it is and then reevaluate further when she gets over this. So far its directing AWAY from a possible surgery!!! Thank god!! Not out of the woods yet but MUUUUUCH closer that last night/This morning! Thank you all soooo very much for the prayers and positive thoughts! Praying it still keeps going this way!!! And a huuuuge thank you to my best friend/ sister/ other half Amy Claypoole Johnson who was sooo thoughtful and brought me a nice warm SMORES (my favorite) coffee!! She Showed up out of the blue to check on sheen and I! Its the little things like that, that mean the most to me!
